NIFT MASTER OF FASHION TECHNOLOGY

A LAN based CBT examination will be conducted at various Centers for the NIFT MFTeach GAT Examination.

The NIFT MFTECH selection process comprises of Online Computer Based Test (CBT) Written test comprising of a General Ability Test (GAT) followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD/PI) for shortlisted candidates of the written examination.

The weightage assigned to each test in the final merit list of the entrance
examination is as under:
GAT      70%
GD/PI   30%

GENERAL ABILITY TEST (GAT) FOR MASTER OF FASHION TECHNOLOGY : This NIFT MFTECH test will comprise of various sections as given below:

1) Quantitative Ability
2) Communication Ability and English Comprehension
3) Analytical and Logical Ability
4) General Knowledge and Current Affairs
5) Case Study

The objective type tests are subject to negative marking.
The negative marking will apply at the rate of 0.25 each wrong answer.

The number of questions may vary in each section year to year.
The level of difficulty in questions for courses may vary.
