NIFT MASTER OF FASHION TECHNOLOGY (MFTECH)

NIFT offers Master of Fashion Technology, a two year Masters course in Fashion Technology (MFTECH) in the field of apparel manufacturing and allied supply chain in India. The course aims to develop future ready techno-managers / operation managers par excellence by adopting an analytical approach through research in innovative and disruptive technologies.

Nift MfTech course is aimed at graduate engineers and technologists who are looking to diversify in the field of fashion technology by providing them domain knowledge of textile and apparel.

NIFT MFTECH (Master of Fashion Technology), is offered at NIFT Centres in Bengaluru, Chennai, Gandhinagar and New Delhi with total seats 140

NIFT MFTECH Eligibility:

NIFT MFTECH Qualifying Age : No age limit 

Educational Qualification for NIFT Master Programme in Fashion Technology - M.FTech (Master of Fashion Technology)
• B.F Tech. from National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT)
or
• B.E / B.Tech. from any Institute / University recognized by law in India.

NIFT MFTECH EXAMINATION PROCESS:
All eligible candidates would have to go through an NIFT MFTECH examination process.

For the NIFT M.FTech programme, the selection process comprises of NIFT MFTECH Written test comprising of a General Ability Test (GAT) followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview(GD/PI) for shortlisted candidates of the written examination.

SCHEDULE OF NIFT MFTECH WRITTEN EXAMINATION 

Date of NIFT MFTECH Entrance Test: 05 February 2023 (Sunday)

The result of the NIFT MFTECH entrance examination will be displayed on the NIFT website 

On the basis of result of GAT candidates will be called for Group Discussion/ Personal Interview.

The candidates applying for the NIFT MFTECH examination should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility criteria for admission. Their admission at all the stages of the examination for which they are admitted by NIFT viz. NIFT MFTECH Written Test, Situation Test, Group Discussion and Interview (as the case may be) will be purely provisional, subject to their satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. If on verification at any time before or after the Written Test, Situation Test, Group Discussion and Interview (as the case may be), it is found that candidate does not fulfill any eligibility criteria, his/her candidature for the examination shall stand cancelled without any notice or further reference. NIFT shall not be liable for any consequences on account of such cancellations.    

LIST OF NIFT MFTECH EXAMINATION CENTRES:  

A LAN based CBT examination will be conducted for NIFT MFTECH Entrance Exam on 05 February 2023 (Sunday) at 32 cities. 

The candidate may select only ONE city for the examination on 05 February 2023 (Sunday).  No request for change in examination center will be entertained at any stage. 

NIFT MFTECH ADMIT CARDS :  

Entry to the Examination Centre will be allowed with NIFT Exam admit cards only.
On the basis of information given in the NIFT Exam Application Forms, Admit Cards of provisionally eligible candidates will be available for download from www.nift.ac.in
or https://nift.ac.in/admission from Third week of January, 2023 onwards.
nift Admit cards will not be sent by post.
Candidates are advised to regularly check NIFT website for updates.
Admit Cards, Results and Counselling Schedule will be available on NIFT’s website only.  No separate communication will be sent by post.

NIFT MFTECH APPLICATION FEE:  has to be paid through online payment gateway or through Bank Demand Draft issued in favour of “NIFT HO” payable at New Delhi.

Non-Refundable Fee for General/OBC (Non-Creamy)/GEN-EWS Category: Rs.3000/- through payment gateway.
Non-Refundable Fee for SC/ ST/ PWD Category: Rs.1500/- through payment gateway.
